NC Clinical Research is offering free lung function testing plus a consult with one of our physicians. NCCR is conveniently located near UNC-Rex Hospital in Raleigh. There is no fee and insurance is not required for this visit.
Asthma Studies
Now Enrolling Asthma Studies
- Age 18 years & up
- Currently using asthma inhaler either “as needed” or daily
- Duration of study ranges from 6 weeks to up to 28 weeks
- Number of visits range from 4 to 7 visits
- Study related medication & care at no cost
- Must currently be a non-smoker, with limited smoking history
- Compensation for your time and travel ranges from $1,400 to $1,625
COPD Study
Now Enrolling a COPD Study
- Age from 40 years to 80 years
- Currently using a daily inhaler
- Duration of study is up to 10 months
- Number of visits is up to 14 visits
- Study related medication & care at no cost
- Must currently be a smoker or a former smoker
- Compensation for your time and travel is up to $3,325
